There were so many wonderful people and charities that stood behind Bob all throughout his fight. Bob was particularly grateful to Be The Match- The National Bone Marrow Registry, as he underwent 2 Stem Cell Transplants. Both of his donors were found on the National Bone Marrow Registry. Also, SECU Family House @ UNC and The UNC Lineberger Cancer Research Center were all a big part of his fight.
Bob loved golf just as he loved life and the scholarship in his name at Pine Valley Country Club will forever honor that. Thank you for your donation that will benefit these wonderful charities!
